When it all came together at the end of 2003 Deville was born after some years of searching. Through a haze of rock, metal and stoner the members have found a way to do something that feels...
The line-up hasn´t always been the same but when Mr.Åkesson came back from Australia and Mr. Hambitzer gave up soulless pop and joined the inseparable duo Mr.Andy and Señor Marcus, the band was a fact.
Deville has also appeared in radio and national press in these countries with the release of a double feature album with Deville and fuzzy Sergej The Freak from Gothenburg (via Daredevil Records in 2005) and the debut album "Come Heavy Sleep" (released on Buzzville Records in 2007) .
After more than 70 gigs all over Europe since the debut album release it is time for the new album "Hail the Black Sky". Recorded during the early months in 2009 in Malmoe, Sweden by Markus Nilsson and produced by Deville. The band has taken a step to a more straight forward songwriting and this album has more of an album feeling than the last one recording the songs during the same period of time. It follows the pattern of significant Deville grooves and 70`s driven riffing of the darker school. Eleven tracks of rock in the veins of Black Sabbath. Kyuss and Soundgarden it takes you to the next level of 70´s rock for the 21st century. After intense touring on the last record the band have found themselves even more, being together now for five years with this line-up. Going abroad and tour in 2006 for the first time the band have shared the stage with bands as Swedish metallers Mustasch and desert rocker Brant Bjork during the years. This album proves the bands progress to their own sound in the genre of heavy rock and beyond and will definitely take the listener for a ride..
