Let us not waste time on clichés and metaphors that are attributed to bands and music in general. For lack of a better description, Mezzanine is what it is: straight, honest, unpretentious, hard rocking music.
Mezzanine have spent their days striving to create the very same emotions that so many of music's heroes did in the past. In the bands own words, "It's about creating what you feel inside. When you leave the rehearsal room or the studio, you know that you're playing music you believe in, and this is what you want to do no matter how successful or unsuccessful it might be."
With that being said, Mezzanine is a three-piece band hailing from Atlanta , GA - USA . Guitarist/Vocalist - Joe Carpenter, Bassist - Tuch, and newest to the fold, Drummer - Troy King.
Fans of 60's and 70's hard rock, southern rock, and classic British rock, Mezzanine combine all of their favorite styles into one. The end result is multi-dimensional without being too eclectic. "We don't want to pigeon-hole ourselves. We want to be able to branch out into different territory while still keeping our own sound." A very simple attitude of "go for what you know," and Mezzanine will do just that.
Approaching the year 2004, Mezzanine inked a deal with Buzzville Records . Their debut release "American Burnout" will surely be a hit for all fans of loud, raw, rock music that pulls out all the punches without relying on any gimmicks.
